Alice McCall

AS THE MUSIC STARTED AND SILENCE FELL OVER THE TENT TODAY AT ALICE McCALL, THE RUNWAY GLOWED PURPLE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE FIRST MODEL (MS GABBY WESTBROOK PATRICK) MADE HER WAY ONTO THE RUNWAY. FROM THE HEIDI-STYLE SILHOUETTES AND FLORAL EMBROIDERY, NOT TO MENTION THE PLAITS PINNED TO THE TOP OF THE MODELS' HEADS, THE COLLECTION SEEMED TO BE INSPIRED BY TRADITIONAL HOLLAND APPAREL. I'M A BIT OF A SUCKER FOR BLUE AND PINK TOGETHER (AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHITE) SO FROM THE OUTSET IT WAS A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN! THE BURST OF TANGERINE WAS GREAT TOO. THE BEST THING ABOUT McCALL'S COLLECTION, I THINK, WAS HER ABILITY TO FUSE NICE WITH NAUGHTY IN THE SAME OUTFIT. BUT SEE WHAT YOU THINK - HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVOURITE LOOKS
